Rachel Harrhy has been practicing yoga since 2010 and became an instructor in 2016 after completing her 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training. She has continued learning with a 50-hour Yin Yoga and Chakra training and a 15-hour Prenatal Yoga training. These experiences have shaped not only her teaching style but the way she engages with the world.
In her classes, Rachel’s intention is to create a welcoming and inclusive environment where students of all levels can explore their practice. She encourages mindful movement, breath awareness, and a deeper connection to the body—inviting each student to meet themselves exactly where they are. Whether you’re new to yoga or deepening your existing practice, Rachel looks forward to meeting you on the mat.
Outside the studio, you’ll likely find her adventuring outdoors—mountain biking, skiing, canoeing, hiking, or camping. She also enjoys creative projects, good food, and quality time with friends.

I’ve been practicing yoga for about ten years, and it’s become a big part of my life. Yoga has given me a calmer mind, a stronger body, and a sense of curiosity that keeps me coming back to the mat. Teaching is my way of sharing that, and I’m always keen on learning from my students and other yoga teachers, too.
My classes are rooted in Hatha but always include some flow—building heat with vinyasa and then settling into stillness. After years of traveling, I’ve put down roots in Rossland, where I’ve found a yoga community that feels like home and where I now teach. RYT 200
